Yesterday members of the Haese Academy went to a local field in a neighboring town where numerous youngsters were playing without any gear.
Thanks to the continued support and generosity of many, it was my privilege to be able to provide gloves, cleats, hats, batting gloves and pants to those without. We were also able to give the local program 4 bats and balls to share.
Watching the joy on the faces of my student-athletes as they handed out the equipment and being able to talk with them about the importance of giving back to the community made it one of our favorite days thus far in this beautiful country!
